  1. The specificity in your submission is commendable. Do bear in mind that the poster can work better as a “unity” (imagine as if this is for a competition submission) – rather than a series of tiles in a large piece of paper (which is more or less your current format). This means that you have to be VERY SELECTIVE about the work that goes on the poster, but doesn’t mean that you cannot research the area and geography in depth. The materials that don’t “make it” into the poster can be kept in a folder on your computer. The second poster is better in that it contains little text – I would consider including only captions and zero paragraphs in the posters.
Having said this, you are extremely clear about the location that you are researching, which is a strength of the project at this point in time. Your posters include some stunning satellite / aerial imagery that could form the basis of some very compelling maps by yourself.
Your second poster is very thorough, although it would be more interesting if you focused on one of the craft methods, and aimed to understand it using a good axonometric drawing or a good physical model.
As you know, some students will come to present their work, so that you can get a better idea on how to work and improve your course output. Until March, we won’t be having 1-1 tutorials, so this feedback is very important to take onboard until then. If you have further questions about this feedback, please do not hesitate to get back in touch. P
